Bedeugen 2011

Teksterne fra Evanglisk Alliances europæiske fællesskab, EEA, til bedeugen i 2011 er kommet - og vil nu blive oversat og tilrettet en dansk sammenhæng

Med teksterne har vi modtaget følgende introduktion:

Evangelisk Alliances bedeuge begyndte I 1846 – med rødder i en langt ældre tradition for at bede sammen. Men Europa og Mellemøsten behøver fremdeles Guds nåde og barmhjertighed – i vores post-sekulariserede sammenhæng.

 

Derfor beder vi, i tro på, at Gud hører vores alvorlige bønner om barmhjertighed – ikke mindst når vi som Jesu efterfølgere beder og handler sammen.

 

Må Gud høre og svare de mange bønner, når vi forener os i vores fælles håb til ham og bruger oplægget fra Evangelisk Alliance på Cypern og i Grækenland.

Verse: John 17:22 “…that they may be one, as we are one.”

Verse: 2 Samuel 24: 24 “…I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”
